Event Details

Dear students,

Our next two seminars on popular science communication will take place on 9 October and 16 October from 12:15 to 14:00 in the building of Social Studies (Lossi 36, room 204). The classroom accommodates roughly 60 students.

To “register” for the offline seminar please fill in a Google form here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1YqAu-NGx6HZaGOL94dBYDhFdXdTMBJL3PS0OtrSW3NA/edit?usp=sharing
This helps us to get an overview of how many of you are planning to attend.

Preparing for the workshop: Please read before our meeting on 9 October a short introduction to science communication and an intro on what makes a story newsworthy and how to recognize it (by Marju Himma, researcher and previous science editor at the Estonian Public Broadcasting). You can find both files on the course website.

Kind regards,

Signe Opermann and Signe Ivask (Institute of Social Studies)
